Map

Such a tiny little area protected from the cold and the dark... Havenhollow as each character will be able to see, consists only of two streets: Intrigue Court, and Pilot Lane. It's nothing but residential area with a sum total of fourteen houses. You arrive through the tunnel onto Pilot Lane, and can turn left onto Intrigue Court... and make a circle around a playground back toward the same lane again.

Coming into town from the bottom of the map... well, it's not a very large place, is it? In fact, attempt to go in any direction away from the streets that's not into the tunnel or the open forest at the end of the circle -- and it's all trees as far as you can see. In fact, the further you walk away, the foggier it gets, no matter how bright of a light you may be carrying.

Go out too far, and you start feeling that same numbness you experienced prior to arriving in town, that same cold and that same nagging fear at the back of your mind, convincing you that leaving the lighted area is a very bad idea. A very bad one. What if you lose your way? What if you can't find your way back to Havenhollow anymore? Would you wander years and years again in the dark, never to find a safe place?

Really, it's best if you just stayed in town...

It's certainly bright enough in town as long as you don't mind the random hazy trick or treaters running around the streets.

Strangely enough, despite the area only being residential, there is never a shortage of food in the pantry and never any less clothing in the closet. Just how does that work where there are nothing but homes and a playground to be seen? Sometimes there may be barely visible people wandering around, and ghostly laughter from children wearing various masks, all who refuse to take off their costume no matter how much a character might badger them about it. They disappear with the mist if followed long enough, going off into the forested area between 5789 and 5790 Intrigue Court. Dare you follow them in there?

For the more daring and adventurous characters able to ignore the nagging in their mind telling them it's an extremely bad idea, all they'll do is get lost in the fog for several hours before finding themselves drawn back to the lights of town again. Not that these little trips don't come with consequences -- the further you head into the woods, the more intense the feeling of panic and fear. Characters will be physically shaking by the time they return back to town, and feel extremely grateful for the tiny community that keeps the dark at bay.

Pilot Lane:
4023 - house
4024 - house
4025 - house
4026 - house

Intrigue Court:
5781 - house
5782 - house (archway)
5783 - house
5784 - house
5785 - house
5786 - house (pumpkin trees)
5787 - house
5788 - house (closer)
5789 - house (overhead)
5790 - house

Between 4023 and 4025 Pilot Lane is a large area dedicated to Halloween... decorations. Here you will always find the few extra pumpkins, haystacks, buckets of candy... even toilet paper and eggs (so let's not piss off those trick or treaters, right?).
